Below are our terms and conditions to give you an idea of our ethos and how we operate. Please be aware that they are subject to change.
We provide an early morning delivery of newspapers and magazine straight to your door and work to the best of our ability to accommodate for special delivery instructions.
Our current standard delivery charge is 50p per day. If you have chosen specific delivery days, you will be charged for those only.
Delivery charges are subject to review on an annual basis, however advance notice will always be sent to you in writing. Cover prices of newspapers and magazines are set by the publishers and are liable to change from time to time.
We can order any magazine or newspaper you wish that is available in shops/news-stands and via subscription.
We welcome all temporary orders in addition to regular orders, for example for guests, racing magazines/newspapers.
Customers are billed 4 weeks in arrears and we would appreciate the invoice to be settled within 7 days. If payments are overdue by a substantial amount or if there is a failure of payment after reminders are sent we reserve the right to suspend delivery and use legal recourse to recover the outstanding monies. Our preferred methods of payment are direct debit, bank transfers, cheques, card or cash.
An account will be set up for yourself once you are registered where your order history and details will be stored. This will enable us to provide the best service and respond to your queries with ease.
Customers often tend to leave their payments, cheques and holiday requests out on the doorstep/mailbox for our delivery men to collect. If you would like to arrange for this please let us know in advance so we can make note of this.
Upton News Ltd accepts all subscription vouchers from every publisher, they are an excellent way for our loyal customers to save money.
We would prefer newspaper subscription vouchers posted by recorded delivery.
If you need to suspend your papers for a period of time, please contact us on 01753 524627 or via email with your specific holiday dates and when you would like the papers to recommence.
If you are already registered with us on WebAccess, you can manage and update your account online. Please call us to find out more information on how to set yourself up on WebAccess.
We value our punctual and efficient services, however on the rare occasion, you may receive the wrong newspaper/magazine or may not receive your paper, in the event that this occurs, please inform us, as soon as you can on 01753 524627 or even via email at email@example.com.
Upton News Ltd is at the forefront of home newspaper delivery industry, working closely with publishers in order to maximise customer satisfaction and retention. Any customer retention rewards we receive from the publishers help to underpin the service we can offer to you but do require a level of selective data sharing.
We will only ever share your information with the publisher of the newspaper/magazine you order personally, no other company will have access to this information. If you are not currently using a subscription service, it could result in you receiving an offer from your chosen newspaper that may save you money if you accept, please inform us of this if changes occur.
